I've just returned from heaven! Or something very near it anyway - the French Pyrenees. My friends Andrea and Paul live in the mountains near the little village of
Massat - in the Ariege region of France - and have been there for 5 years. The setting of their home is beautiful, on the side of a mountain overlooking a valley, with snow-capped mountains in the distance. They've renovated an old French farmhouse and live in one half while the other half is rented out as a gite (check out their website for
tapovan-massat.) It really is the most beautiful setting -especially on a sunny May day!
